The apostle Paul talked about Jesus for only a few weeks in Thessalonica.  Then he was chased out of town by an angry mob.  So much for that mission trip…

So imagine his joy when he hears that the church in Thessalonica is thriving months later!  He grabs pen and paper and writes this letter we know of as ‘1 Thessalonians’.  And what an encouraging letter it is!  Join us in this sermon series as we hear about how fantastic and how important it is for Christians to keep on Standing Firm…
