Thoughts about New Word Alive

New Word Alive

Last week (7th-11th April) a group from Emmanuel travelled to beautiful North Wales to attend New Word Alive, a Christian conference run by Keswick ministries and UCCF, with Don Carson, John Piper, and Terry Virgo as main speakers for the week.

Single-minded for the gospel

Today we continue in our sermon series looking at Paul’s letter to the Philippians and what it means to be partners in the gospel. This morning, Nigel Styles helped us to look at verses 12 - 26 of chapter 1 and to consider Paul’s ambition that the gospel advances, that Christ is proclaimed and how each day should be used for fruitful labour for the gospel.
