global vision
Jesus tells us to take the gospel out to the ends of the earth, starting on our doorstep. Everything we do is geared towards sharing the good news with Bramcote and the surrounding area (more info here).
But to help us stay a part of what God is doing around the world, we support a number of outside agencies and individuals who are seeking to impact the world for Jesus . We pray for these people week by week and are committed to giving away a chunk of our financial resources to them as part of our annual budget.
At the moment the people we support are:
Andrew & Bethanie Walker
Bethanie used to be a member at Emmanuel and now the pair of them are missionaries in Argentina with the mission agency Crosslinks.
Find more information about them at the Crosslinks site here.
Pao da Vida
Pao da Vida (‘Bread of Life’) is a residential project caring for children aged between 7 and 17 who have been abandoned or are at risk on the streets of Igarassu in Brazil and the surrounding cities. The project offers the children restoration and a new hope in Jesus Christ within a family structure. A few members of Emmanuel have spent time out in Brazil working with them.

Andy & Anna Beckham
Emmanuel are delighted to be supporting 2 of our church members, Andy & Anna, as they serve in Madagascar to explore the possibility of future missionary work. They are working for a Christian-run hospital in Mandritsara whilst getting involved in evangelism and Bible teaching. Learn more about them on our ‘stories’ page.
Find more information about the work in Mandritsara at their website here.
UCCF: the christian unions
Christian Unions are mission teams operating in universities and colleges, supported by the local church, and resourced by UCCF staff. Their aim is to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ in the student world. We have strong personal links with students and staff workers at Emmanuel and want to help spread the good news in our local universities.

AIM International
Africa Inland Mission is an evangelical, interdenominational organisation with the goal of seeing Christ-centred churches among all African peoples. They have 930 people working in over 20 countries in Africa. They also work with African populations in the UK and Europe as well. Angela, one of our Managing Trustees, spent many years out in Africa with AIM and another member of our congregation works in their head office.
