Everything we do relies on God. Without prayer we won’t accomplish anything. That’s why we want prayer to be a part of everything we do. You will often find us praying before, during and after our times together, asking God to fulfill His mission through us. Some people meet up in twos and threes to pray. We also organise specific times to gather as a church to pray. Find details for those below:
Our monthly prayer meetings are called our First Priority Meetings for a reason. We want to drop everything and pray for one another, for the church and for our world. Sometimes these take place at Bramcote Hills College (see the ‘find us’ page for a map), but sometimes we have these prayer times in our Connect Groups instead or by gathering together a few groups in a couple of different people’s houses.
We start off by looking at the Bible, letting God’s Word set the agenda for our prayers, before turning to pray for various things. Everyone is very welcome to come along. Check the calendar on our ‘upcoming events’ page for details of when and where the next First Priority Meeting is.
If you are available in the daytime, a group of people meet at Ruth Bryant’s house every Tuesday at 9.45am to pray for one another and for Emmanuel. Anyone is welcome, whether or not you can go every week. Please get in touch with us via our contact page for more information about where to go for this, or alternatively speak to her on a Sunday.
