ClockThe news from our January Members Meeting is that our Sunday meetings will continue to be at 3:30pm for now. From Sunday March 25 (the day when the clocks change) and for the whole of the summer, we will change our meeting time to 10:30am.

I’m a fan of afternoon church.
Maybe it’s because I don’t like getting up in the morning, but I like a relaxed morning, big lunch and then church. I also like that people don’t seem in such a rush to get away after the service.

I’m also a fan of afternoon church. I can see the many reasons for the service in the morning, but like Charlie I think that a service in the afternoon encourages a greater level of fellowship. You spend your day in anticipation of church rather than getting it ‘over and done with’ first thing in the morning. People aren’t rushing off to cook the dinner or to meet with other friends - if anything it encourages friends to come! Invite them them over for lunch and them bring them to church, fantastic.
